NJ and Virginia fell hard for Obama’s line of crap a year ago but now they’ve seen the error of their ways. The establishment Republicans tried to shove a liberal down our throats in upstate NY and she was so soundly rejected she withdrew from the race. Hoffman, a political newbie on the third party Conservative Party ticket came out of nowhere with a Palin endorsement and got within 5 pts of winning the election. Independents broke for the Republicans in all three elections 2 to 1. And don’t believe the state controlled media that this doesn’t mean anything. In fact, we’ve already seen results. On the eve of the election Harry Reid saw the writing on the wall and announced Obamacare may not get voted on until next year. This is a huge flinch on the Dems part. Conservatism roared in last night’s elections and it’s only a foretaste of things to come.

We hope the inside the beltway Republicans are paying attention. The electorate wants true conservatives whether they have an R by their name or not. Conservative candidate Hoffman has taken a wide lead in the NY-23 house race with 31% to his rival’s 19%. This is especially significant because his rival, Scozzafava, was handpicked by the GOP establishment to run as a liberal republican. Newt Gingrich made a highly publicized endorsement of her, proving once and for all how out-of-touch he really is. Sarah Palin bravely put herself on the line and endorsed Hoffman and that’s what people are looking for. Brave conservatives who believe in true principles, not just the latest scheme to try to inch ahead. LINK
constitution, joe the plumber, marxist obama, obama's thesis
In politics on October 23, 2009 at 7:26 pm
A new excerpt has surfaced from Obama’s college thesis. One quote in particular is getting a lot of attention.
“… the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.”
Okay, the entire quote is despicable and unthinkable for a future American president. Referring to the authors of the Constitution as “so-called” founders. Defining economic freedom as the redistribution of wealth. It’s not only disgusting, it’s very revealing of the Marxist point of view that Obama applies to everything he does. He can’t chalk this up to youthful ignorance either. He made similar comments as recently as 2001 and even more recently when he told Joe the Plumber he wanted to “spread the wealth around.” Obama has utter disdain for everything this country stands for and he intends to tear it down and rebuild it in his image. As soon as the title of Palin’s book was announced people started speculating whether she was leaving the republican party. Well, we got another clue today. She has announced her support for Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York. She goes on to praise him for “not being part of the political machine.” TDI has mixed feelings about this. As Rush Limbaugh always counsels, we’re better off to change the republican party than to try and establish a new party. But at what point do we quit banging out heads against the wall? Is it time for conservatives to go rogue? We’ll have to wait and see how things play out… LINK

The state-run media will definitely bury this story. It seems the supreme leader’s stimulus hoax is an even bigger disaster than we anticipated. Every state but one has lost jobs in the last 7 months. And we’re running a deficit of 6 million jobs from where the administration said we would be. It should be obvious to everyone now that Obama’s stimulus plan was just a huge lie. Expect the very same lies, and results, from the impending healthcare bill. LINK

Turns out the bailout money came with some pretty long strings attached. The Obama administration has now taken it upon itself to dictate salary ceilings and institute pay cuts of 90% to the highest-paid execs. Where does the government find the authority for such actions? No damn where. This administration is on a power grab and they don’t intend to stop until they control every aspect of the economy and our lives. Make no mistake, there is a revolution afoot and everyone’s freedom is at stake. LINK

Monday Mark revealed Obama’s Marxist agenda by playing Obama’s own words. Tuesday, Mark continued this theme by playing a host of recordings of administration officials admitting the ultimate goal of any healthcare reform is a government run single payer system. Even if a public option is not explicitly instituted, the bill will create the circumstances that will run private insurance out of business and lead to a government option within a few years. From Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, to Barney Frank, to Obama himself, Mark collects the clips so you can hear their plan in their own words. Obama intends to implement national healthcare and seize control of 20% of the U.S. economy. It’s all out there if we’re willing to face up to it. LINK

The White House has decreed that Fox News is not be considered a legit “news organization.” ABC reporter Jake Tapper asked press secretary Robert Gibbs if it was appropriate for the White House to make such determinations. To which Gibbs replied that he should watch at 9:00 tonight to see if he agrees. Jake rightly pointed out that an opinion show runs at that time and that it has no bearing on their news reporting. Gibbs wouldn’t back down and affirmed the WH’s opinion. Of course Gibbs never addressed the real question about the appropriateness of the White House making such pronouncements. The truth is this administration actively works to limit open discourse and smear anyone with a dissenting opinion. LINK

Mark started out his show Monday by playing clip after clip of Obama laying out his radical Marxist agenda to “change” and “fundamentally remake” America. First, we heard the clips from 2001 where Obama said he believes the Warren Court should have been much more radical and should have advocated the redistribution of wealth. Then we heard Obama lay out his plans to regulate the coal industry out of existence, skyrocket electricity costs to drive down usage, and institute government run healthcare by driving insurance companies out of business in 5 to 10 years. And all of this is in Obama’s own words. This is not a secret plan. It’s all out in the open for those who are willing to listen. LINK

Rush Limbaugh has been talking this week about a behind-the-scenes plan to pass ObamaCare with a public option. It’s a bit complicated but is boils down to this. They plan is to piggyback ObamaCare on another bill that will pass easily. It’s slight of hand that is done all the time to sneak through smallish pork projects and such. But it’s never been tried before to sneak through nationalization of 20% of the economy! The Dems don’t have the public support or even the votes to have a straight up or down vote. The only way they can get this monstrosity passed is through parliamentary games. This plot needs to be exposed and prevented before it’s too late. LINK

Due to a weak El Nino, we are facing the coldest winter in a decade. This will mark the 11th year in a row that global temperatures have cooled. During that time, CO2 emissions have remained steady proving what we all know – global warming is load of crap. But no little thing like facts will get in the way of global warmists and their political agenda. Tomorrow Senators Kerry and Boxer intend to introduce a climate bill to congress. The bill is very aggressive and aims to cut CO2 emissions 20% by 2020. This would, of course, cripple industry in America while having no effect on the weather in any way. But crippling industry is what these power hungry idiots are all about. They want to ruin the private sector so everyone will have to look to DC for help. They wind up with all the control and power and that’s the real goal of supposed global warming. LINK

While America’s state-run media had nothing but universal praise for Obama’s apologies and pandering at the U.N. the Canadian press has been more balanced. The National Post ran this front-page story pitting Sarkozy’s realist view on nukes against Obama’s dangerous appeasement. Sarkozy called BHO out for ignoring the realities right in front of him concerning Iran and other rogue nations getting nukes. He called Obama naïve and dangerous – and he couldn’t be more right. Hundreds of thousands of tea partiers marched on Washington. Congressmen are getting an earful at town hall meetings. ObamaCare can’t get out of the starting gates. After years of wandering in the wilderness of the George Bush years when conservatism was occasionally practiced but never preached, Americans are starting to wake up. A majority of the country, including plenty of white folk, had no problem voting for a black guy for president. But now if they disagree with him that somehow makes them racists. Ridiculous. If you’re not familiar with Charlie, that’s not surprising. He’s the anchor of ABC’s World News Tonight – which no one watches. Last week the White House sent out orders to state-run media to bury the ACORN prostitution story. They all obliged except for Fox News. Even with the media black-out, ACORN responded to the furor by firing the involved employees. The Census Bureau also felt the heat and formally severed their ties with ACORN. And republicans in congress are moving to have ACORN stripped from receiving any more government handouts. Despite all this, Charlie Gibson just laughed like an idiot when asked about the story. He claimed he had never heard anything about it and that it sounded like “cable fodder.” Is it possible that a network news anchor could be so ignorant? Hard to believe but considering how pathetic they are at their jobs we have to at least assume it’s a possibility. The only other explanation is that he is following White House orders and lying to cover up the story. Either answer is unacceptable but all too typical of what passes for mainstream news these days. Seems six percent of the population was temporarily snowed but came to their senses pretty quickly. Mark called him out for diluting the message of the marchers. They were there to rally against Obama’s lurch towards socialism, Obamacare and out-of-control spending. But Glenn took it upon himself to change their message at the last moment and say, “It’s not a march against Democrats. It’s not a march against Republicans. It’s a march against corruption!” Huh? Corruption? Really? Corruption of what by who? It’s just silly empty rhetoric. We’re up against a radical administration that wants to nationalize 20% of the U.S. economy. Wouldn’t you love to hear Joe Wilson stick it the president again? Just imagine the look on Pelosi’s craggy old face if he stood up in front of Congress and America and said the following:
“I have come under fire for accusing the president of lying. Yet, during his speech, he accused a sizeable portion of the American people of “lying” just because they have an honest disagreement with his approach to healthcare reform. This kind of vitriol coming from the president of the United States is not only distasteful. It is divisive, provocative and akin to hate speech. So what is behind this blatant double standard? Why are his accusations assumed to be more legitimate than mine? Should President Obama be given special privileges and allowances just because of the office he holds? According to the Constitution, the answer is no. Like me, he is a representative of the people, nothing more and nothing less. This sort of double standard may fly in the Latin American dictatorships Mr. Obama is so fond of but it will not stand in a country of equals. If my accusations are worthy of public censure then so are the president’s. I am formally calling on President Obama to apologize for his slander of the American people. When and if he does, I will follow suit.”

Sarah Palin has once again hit the nail on the head with a plan that can be described in one paragraph instead of the thousands of pages congress offers up. Here it is in her own words:
Instead of poll-driven “solutions,” let’s talk about real health-care reform: market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven. As the Cato Institute’s Michael Cannon and others have argued, such policies include giving all individuals the same tax benefits received by those who get coverage through their employers; providing Medicare recipients with vouchers that allow them to purchase their own coverage; reforming tort laws to potentially save billions each year in wasteful spending; and changing costly state regulations to allow people to buy insurance across state lines. Rather than another top-down government plan, let’s give Americans control over their own health care. LINK

He’ll say there are no death panels even though boards will be set up to decide who is worthy of receiving treatment. So how is his message any different? He will also make it clear that the debate is over. He will no longer try to convince you. He agrees with Bill Maher that the American people are too stupid to know what’s best for them. Obama will declare himself the winner of the debate and shift from selling ObamaCare to implementing it. He intends for congress to vote on a bill before the end of next week. If Obama was smart he’d just lay low for awhile. We’re all so sick of his ugly mug. Every time he appears on tv his approval ratings drop another point. But they still believe all he has to do is stutter some vague lines and we’ll all swoon. So he’s making a speech to a joint session of congress to “take the reigns back on the healthcare debate.” Yeah, right. These type of addresses are usually reserved for state of the union addresses and emergencies like Bush’s speech to congress after 9/11. Of course, with approval ratings of 42% after 9 months, you could say Obama’s presidency is in a state of emergency. The second place Obama will appear next week is at every school across the nation. He’s supposed to inspire our kids to embrace their civic duties. Sounds harmless enough until you try to imagine what Obama’s ideas of civic duty might include. Enlisting in junior league of ACORN? The speech will be televised live this Tuesday at noon. All parents are strongly encouraged to pick their kids up from school early that day and take them to lunch. We won round one. Drudge reports that Obama has given up on the public option. But make no mistake. He still intends to have it – just not right now. He had hoped to come in on a wave of popularity and implement his socialist healthcare program all at once. But he made a strategic mistake. He arrogantly pushed through his supposed stimulus bill first and the public has had time to see that it is really just the biggest liberal spending boondoggle in the history of the world. So only 9 months into his administration his popularity has plummeted to 42%. That means he can no longer cram through Obamacare unchecked. The masses effectively stood up and stopped it in its tracks. That doesn’t mean that he has seen the error of his ways. He just has to find new ways to trick you. Plan B is to scrub the public option to get the bill passed and then put it back in the first chance they get. Glenn Beck has been running a series this week exposing Obama’s Czars. His ratings have gone through the roof. You’d think the White House would want to refute his claims about the czars being marxists but they’re cool with that. The thing that gets to them is the term “czar.” So they thought they could treat Glenn like all the rest of the news media. Just call him up and command him to stop. Use the term “special advisor” they say. To which Glenn told them to stuff it. If they don’t want us to call their czars czars because they don’t like the term czar to describe their czars then maybe we should piss them off by calling their czars czars every chance we get to call their czars czars. After twenty years Rush still can surprise us on a daily basis. He is simply the great conservative thinker of our time. He didn’t use Teddy’s death to criticize him instead he said we should be inspired by his example. Teddy didn’t settle for the 3rd rate healthcare he advocates for the masses. He wasn’t limited to the care dictated by the government. He sought out the very best America had to offer. Simply put – he had the freedom to choose his healthcare. So why not take the opportunity of his death to guarantee that the American people have the same rights? Are we any less deserving? LINK

While the media has had us all focused on the Fairness Doctrine Obama’s statists are hatching a media revolution. If you read FCC Czar Mark Lloyd’s plan to remove our freedom of speech it will send a chill down your spine. It’s a long complicated program that creates 8 FCC censorship offices around the country to remove conservative radio from the airwaves one station at a time. It’s so methodical and anti-American. In his writings and speeches Mark Lloyd has said our claims to freedom of speech have been greatly exaggerated. He is not concerned about ensuring antiquated ideas of free speech. It is his goal to impose his idea of fairness by handing the airwaves over to “real people.” There is even a youtube video where he praises Chavez’s takeover of the media to end the free flow of speech in Venezuela. Once again, thanks go out to Glenn Beck for exposing Mark Lloyd and his ruthless agenda. LINK

Nobody pushes Dick around. If Obama thinks he can attack the CIA with no one calling him on it, he’s got another thing coming. In an effort to distract from his economic and healthcare catastrophe Obama has gone back on his earlier promise and decided to investigate CIA officers who interrogated terrorist detainees. Dick rightly points out that we should be holding these people up as heroes, not persecuting them. They are responsible for eliciting information that stopped untold attacks and saved thousands of American lives. Obama is just feeding red meat to his lefty kook base to try to make amends for momentarily wavering on the public option in ObamaCare. But you have to give it to him this week on his continuing series to expose Obama’s Czars. Color of Change founder and current Green Jobs Czar Van Jones was his first victim. He played clips of Van in his own words admitting to being a follower of communism. He also advocated for people of color to oppose authority with violence. He openly admits he is just using environmentalism as a means to achieve his societal transformation goals. He’s a radical, militant lefty and just the sort Obama loves to surround himself with. Beck is doing some good work here and maybe it’s time to upgrade him from the lightweight category. Rush Limbaugh apparently has. He has agreed to appear on Glenn’s show this Wednesday. That’s all the endorsement we really need. LINK

The contrast is stark. The royal family is living it up while the king’s policies have doomed the masses to the highest unemployment rate since the depression. In Obama’s mind his rewards are justified. The rich capitalists have taken their unfair share over the years so it’s only right that a committed socialist and activist like himself should grab all he can to even the scales. He doesn’t care how it looks to the unemployed. He has them right where he wants them. When things become too dire they’ll have no choice but to come crawling to government for handouts. That’s the plan. So don’t begrudge your king’s indulgences. Be proud and live through him. If he has his way, that’s as close as you’ll ever get to the good life. LINK

Spector knew his flight to the Democrat party would bring risks. Although Pennsylvania is a slightly left of center state, they are far from liberal. The polls show Spector trailing behind his republican competitor. So what does the turncoat do to try to get back in good graces? Act more conservative. He’s found himself a solid issue to champion. He’s calling for the suspension of the VA “death book” that the Obama administration has recently reintroduced. It’s a book doctors use to discuss end-of-life issues with vets they want to get off the public dole. The creepy thing is that it’s also used for vets in wheelchairs and with financial problems as well as for those facing terminal issues. It’s very easy to draw a parallel with the methods that would be employed with ObamaCare at large. Spector is on the right side of this issue but it’s hard to imagine he’s sincere about it. It’s a bold and smart political move but we shouldn’t be fooled. The people of Pennsylvania need to elect a solid republican and send this guy packing. LINK

In politics on August 22, 2009 at 10:53 am
Not often you get to start and end a sentence with the word debunking but Obama provided us with the perfect opportunity. He’s out there “hammering away” at supposed republican myths. He claims that it’s not true that illegal immigrants will get health insurance under reform. He says this in spite of the fact that congress would not allow the republicans to add a measure that stated illegal immigrants would not be covered. And there are several youtube videos of Obama saying it is our moral obligation to cover illegals. His next statement is a tricky one. He says it’s not true that abortions are “mandated” under the plan. But saying they aren’t mandated is a far cry from saying they will be prohibited. He says every credible person agrees that there are no death panels mentioned in the bill. This is true that the exact words “death panels” are not used but a council is described that would make life and death decisions based on life expectancy vs. cost. Finally, he says the government plan would be optional. That you can keep your private insurance if you so choose. Although the bill doesn’t out and out ban private insurance it puts into play many provisions that would run private insurance out of business within a few years. So, everything he said was just mincing words. It’s obvious he’s lying and misrepresenting the bill in an attempt to fool us into supporting it. Maybe the most offensive thing about his “debunking” is that he provides no proof to support his claims. That his mere utterances should be all the proof we need. He just expects us to blindly believe. He doesn’t seem to realize those days have passed him by. He no longer has the trust of the American people. LINK

A great column in the Wall Street Journal points out that the problem isn’t that people aren’t listening to Obama. The problem is that they are and they can’t make any sense of what he says. From day to day, sometimes within the same speech, he makes completely contradictory assertions. He says the healthcare system we have now is a complete disaster that needs top-to-bottom overhaul but if you like it then nothing will change. He claims government won’t interfere with decisions between patients and their physicians except to force them to reduce the number of tests and treatments doctors prescribe. He uses Medicare as an example of a well-run government program that he also says has out of control spending and needs top-to-bottom reform. The only way you could support ObamaCare is to have complete and baseless blind faith. LINK

Just look at the huge gulf in this new Zogby poll – Dems give Obama an 84% approval while Repubs give him an astoundingly low 5.7%! And the thing that’s really killing him is that he has lost the independents, too. He only gets a 37.5% approval amoung that group. Average it all out and the supreme leader gets a less than supreme overall approval rating of 45%. Couple this with the recent poll that showed a majority of people in all 50 states now describe themselves as more conservative than liberal. This is the first time Obama has publicly given his support for congressional democrats to go it alone by using a seldom employed provision that allows them to pass a bill with only 51 votes. Many question whether this move is even legal since the provision was designed only to be used for budgetary votes. Obama went on to list his four basic requirements for a healthcare bill. He wanted to know how private insurance could possibly compete or even survive against a state controlled entity that doesn’t have to make a profit or pay taxes. Obama condescendingly said he liked the questioner’s chutzpah. Then went on to give the feeble answer “I think there are ways we can address those competitive issues.” Sounds like he’s got it all figured out, huh? The truth is he knows a public co-op would kill off the private insurance industry within five years leaving us all on the government dole. You know how movie stars always have a group of lackeys following them around doing their bidding? Well, they’ve got nothing on Michelle. She has an unprecedented twenty strong staff of paid employees. Guess it takes a lot of people to arrange those shopping trips and soup kitchen visits. Too bad none of them have better tips on selecting her wardrobe. Click the link to see how much it’s costing us taxpayers to fund these “staffers.” At least she’s doing her part to fight unemployment. (thx lilamae) LINK

Whoever said Michelle is a giant among women was telling the truth. Here’s a picture of her just before she ground up the Italian President’s bones to make her bread. Early reports claim the Italian first lady narrowly escaped by using one of Michelle’s shoes as a boat to float downstream. Just look at those legs! Her left thigh alone must weigh more than Obama. She looks like a two-ton banana that sprouted legs and lumbered into the presidential palace looking for an all-you-can-eat buffet. “Quick, hide the yeasty rolls! Not so long ago, The United States of America decided to elect a black guy (OK, half black. Whatever.) to the highest office in the land because it felt good and was historic and all that jazz. So far, that decision is working out great if you’re comfortable with euthanizing old people. The same historic, feel-good mentality that brought us President Obama now gives us our newest Supreme Court Justice, Sonya Sotomayor, the first Hispanic to sit on the highest court in the land. Unless you count Benjamin Cardozo, of course. Sure, the majority of her decisions ruled on by the High Court were reversed. And sure, she once said publicly that the courts are where policy is made. Oh, and she may or may not use actual “laws” to come to her decisions. What’s important here is that she isn’t an evil, white male. Let’s hope this feel-good story doesn’t get all creepy and weird like Obama’s. LINK

During Obama’s propaganda party last night he accused doctors of performing unnecessary operations for profit. He also said they were incapable of recommending generic medicine for their patients. It’s a basic tool of the left to demonize their opponents. But this is a pretty tough pill to swallow. Will Americans really believe their doctors are out to get them? That the government will be better and more-trustworthy at making these decisions? Obama repeatedly says government intervention will keep the healthcare industry honest. Is anyone really buying this bull? No one is less trustworthy than the government. Obama also name checked the Mayo Clinic, insinuating that they support his efforts. He perpetuates this lie even though they have harshly condemned the bill. Obama is so arrogant and conceited that he actually thinks he knows better than your own doctor. Let’s hope he gets a big dose of reality when this bill goes down in flames. LINK

The White House instructed Dems to “Punch back harder.” Obama told followers “to get angry” and “to get in their faces.” Obama sent out an email call to arms and loaded town hall meetings with paid union thugs. Obama got elected as the great uniter but has proven to be the great divider. There wasn’t one incidence of violence at a town hall meeting until Obama instructed his goons to literally fight back against those who dare practice freedom of speech. Just watch this video that shows the tail end of Obama’s union thugs pushing a conservative African-American man to the ground. Check out the brave woman who puts herself between the man on the ground and the union guy who had at least 200 pounds on her. Who knows what would’ve happened if the thugs hadn’t noticed the cameras? They might have sent the man to his grave instead of the hospital. As Rush Limbaugh has pointed out, it is the height of hypocrisy that a president who made his name in community organizing has no tolerance for those who community organize against him. More and more Obama is showing America who he really is – a small and petty man who is far more violent and dangerous than any of us could have imagined. LINK

Dear Obama,
You have severely underestimated the American people. It’s not surprising considering your open disdain for this country and its citizens. You thought we’d go quietly and follow you off the cliff, but we’re not as stupid as you think. Sure, you fooled a slight majority of the population into believing your empty platitudes about “Change.” But as soon as people started to realize your idea of change really meant imposing socialism on America, your popularity began to plummet. It’s taken about 8 months for people to wake up but less than half of the country now supports you. And as for your agenda, it’s even less popular. You took the American people for chumps. You believed we were fat, lazy and stupid. You thought it would be easy to destroy us from within. You were wrong. We know the truth about ObamaCare. All we have to do is listen to your own words. Over a period of time you plan to eliminate private insurance and move to a single payer government plan. If that were implemented you would have control over every aspect of our lives. But it ain’t gonna happen. The American people have been awakened and they will not allow you to “change” this country any further. In your mind you think the ends justify the means. You childishly believe we can achieve a socialist utopia and once everyone sees how wonderful it is, they will forgive and even thank you for imposing it on us. But America isn’t some banana republic ripe for the picking. As much as you may hate it, this country was founded on principles of freedom and it runs deep in our blood. You are not a king or a dictator who gets to impose his will on us. You are just a citizen, no better and no worse than any other. This is a representative government and you are not representing the will of the people. Feel free to try to convince us your way is better by playing in the arena of civil discourse and free speech. But the lying and strong-arm tactics have to stop. The American people will not allow it. It’s time for you to stand down Mr. President. We have rejected ObamaCare and the sooner you realize that the better it will be for all of us.

They’re just concerned about how much it will cost to treat you. This is a foretaste of what Obamacare would be like. The government dictating what we can and can’t eat, and how much. Yesterday, the CDC recommended restrictions on portion sizes, the availability of unhealthy foods and beverages, and limits on the advertising of unhealthy foods. The recommendations are for public venues, with more widespread restrictions in the future. CDC Director Thomas Frieden recommended a tax on sugary drinks, decreases in the availability of unhealthy foods and increased prices. Dick Morris has discovered the secret weapon that will help Obama transform America once and for all. By covering illegals, Obamacare will create an unprecedented run on the border. It will be an irresistible draw for millions of Mexicans to cross the border – and this is what he wants. Once these millions are here he will grant them citizenship and in one fell swoop create an insurmountable voting block. Have you wondered why the matter of illegals and healthcare has been completely ignored by the media? That’s because they’re trying to help keep it quiet and slip it through. When the GOP tried to add a provision to insure illegals weren’t covered, it was shot down. It was barely reported in the press. In order, his assumptions are: the black person acted without fault, race played a role, the suspect’s anger is natural and justified, police acted stupidly, the suspect is wrongly arrested, the details aren’t important because racial profiling in America is indisputable, race remains a factor and still haunts us, blacks and Hispanics get picked up without cause, police must work harder to improve techniques and eliminate bias so we’ll be safer. Now, read the transcript and see for yourself.
FULL TRANSCRIPT: “Well, I — I should say at the outset that Skip Gates is a friend, so I may be a little biased here. I don’t know all the facts. What’s been reported, though, is that the guy forgot his keys, jimmied his way to get into the house; there was a report called into the police station that there might be a burglary taking place. So far, so good, right? I mean, if I was trying to jigger into — well, I guess this is my house now, so — (laughter) — it probably wouldn’t happen. But let’s say my old house in Chicago — (laughter) — here I’d get shot. (Laughter.) But so far, so good. They’re — they’re — they’re reporting. The police are doing what they should. There’s a call. They go investigate. What happens? My understanding is, at that point, Professor Gates is already in his house. The police officer comes in. I’m sure there’s some exchange of words. But my understanding is — is that Professor Gates then shows his ID to show that this is his house, and at that point he gets arrested for disorderly conduct, charges which are later dropped. Now, I’ve — I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that. But I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home. And number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there is a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcing disproportionately. That’s just a fact. As you know, Lynn, when I was in the state legislature in Illinois, we worked on a racial profiling bill because there was indisputable evidence that blacks and Hispanics were being stopped disproportionately. And that is a sign, an example of how, you know, race remains a factor in the society. That doesn’t lessen the incredible progress that has been made. I am standing here as testimony to the progress that’s been made. And yet the fact of the matter is, is that, you know, this still haunts us. And even when there are honest misunderstandings, the fact that blacks and Hispanics are picked up more frequently, and oftentime for no cause, casts suspicion even when there is good cause. And that’s why I think the more that we’re working with local law enforcement to improve policing techniques so that we’re eliminating potential bias, the safer everybody’s going to be.” VIDEO

Gambino, Genovese and Gotti are names synonymous with organized crime. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-California) wants to add ACORN to that list. Issa, The senior Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, introduced a report accusing ACORN of tax fraud, racketeering, money-laundering and a litany of other crimes. The report also points out that the community group that worked so hard to get president Obama elected is deliberately structured to avoid legal and public scrutiny. This is the same group Obama put in charge of the next census. Gee, why would he do that? TDI salutes Rep. Issa for taking on this fight. Here’s a reference point for all future would-be American dictators. You have about 7 months to spread your disease before a majority of the American people catch on. A new Rasmussen poll shows that Obama’s support has fallen to 49%. And his policies fare even worse. 53% oppose healthcare reform while only 44% support it. 72% don’t want the government to dictate what type of light bulbs they use. 63% say the country is moving in the wrong direction. 25% think the stimulus plan has helped while 31% think it has hurt. Only 32% think Obama is governing in a bipartisan fashion while 53% think he is a partisan Democrat. 20% think healthcare should be the Prez’s #1 priority while 37% think cutting the deficit should be. So, have we won? Has Obama been neutered? Don’t count on it. His agenda won’t change. Only his methods of achieving it will. The next few weeks should be very telling about how he intends to proceed without the public support he has relied on so heavily. LINK

Among all the lies about healthcare reform, Obama did lift the veil for one moment last night. He said the police acted “stupidly” arresting a black professor who appeared to be breaking into a home. He made this statement even though he admitted he didn’t know the details of the case. This says truckloads about the inner workings of Obama’s mind. He immediately believes the worst about the police. Isn’t that just the same way he views the military and America in general? Guilt first, details later. Now he’s trying to backpedal but America got a glimpse of the true Obama last night. LINK

All we get is vague and absurd warnings like “Crop devastation, melting glaciers, water shortages and displaced people will drag the military into conflict…” So – you guessed it – we must act now “to save the world!” If we don’t, these “climate conflicts” will melt the rainbows and make bunnies cry. Like Obama said, when people reach a certain age the government will have to evaluate whether their lives are worth saving. Under any set of rules one would have to assume Teddy wouldn’t meet the criteria. He’s 76 years old and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Considering life expectancy is 78, why should the government foot the bill to prolong his life for a measly two years? As Obama said, he should just take some painkillers and go quietly for the greater good. Ted Kennedy has claimed that passage of healthcare deform is his life mission. But if he was one of the masses instead of one of the new privileged class, that very bill would sentence him to certain death. Oh, the delicious irony. Democratic leadership wants to go one step further to cull our population by letting government dollars pay for abortions. Sure, the bill doesn’t specifically call for them, but it sure as hell doesn’t forbid the idea. Some Democrat lawmakers insist that a provision supporting abortion be added before lending their support. This issue is just the latest to fracture Democrat support for what the Wall Street Journal calls “One of the worst pieces of legislation ever introduced in Congress.” When President Obama was asked about the controversy, he did his usual song and dance, refusing to answer the question. The government’s war against free speech is about to get hot. A bunch of failed minority broadcasters have scurried to DC with the hopes of suckling at the prodigious teat of Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner. Not surprisingly, they have the full support of several powerful democrats including Charlie Rangel and Barney Frank. Recent bailouts have come with lots of conditions and government interference. Why should this one be any different? Once the Obama administration gets its claws into the broadcasters, “state run media” will no longer be a clever term used to describe the mainstream media. It will be official. It will pump propaganda into minority markets like a mama bird regurgitating into the mouths of her hatchlings. Don’t expect it to stop there. During a senate committee hearing, The CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Harry C. Alford, spoke out in opposition to proposed climate change legislation. Barbara Boxer cut him off mid-sentence to list all the other “black” groups that supported the legislation. Alford rightly pointed out that it was irrelevant what the other “black” groups were doing and that it was racist to propose that he must agree with them. He became quite emotional and went on to point out that Boxer was being “condescending” and her line of reasoning was “God awful.” While he spoke, Boxer was dismissive and chattered on to the person sitting next to her. This is a vivid example of how the true racists in America are the liberals. They don’t see people as individuals, they only see color of skin. There was always a sense that they were just going through the motions. They never called the firefighters to testify. Today they announced they would not filibuster. Several Republicans even hinted they would vote for her. They started out strong but they had no follow through. Let’s face it. Republicans are just too polite and too nice. There was no Borking. No pubic hairs on Coke cans. No disrespectful grandstanding. The Dems wouldn’t even allow Estrada’s nomination go to the floor. Remember when they made Alito’s wife cry? In politics on July 15, 2009 at 9:04 am
The Democrat leaders in the Senate plan to use a special parliamentary procedure to shut out dissent and pass healthcare reform with only 51 votes. This procedure is called “reconciliation” and it would prevent Republicans from blocking passage by bypassing the usual 60 votes required to pass a bill. Obama has already tossed aside his promise to work for bipartisan support. He says the ends justify the means and that this bill is too important to get hung up on “process.” Just like his promise of transparency and his promise to exclude lobbyists from his administration, it seems Obama only keeps promises when convenient. In order for this bill to fail all 40 Republican plus 10 Democrats must vote against it. The decks are stacked against us. Unless there is a huge public outcry this bill will pass. Sure, there’s less than a 10% chance she can be stopped, but in the whole scheme of things 10 to 1 aren’t bad odds. Look at the Harriet Meyers debacle. Odds were we couldn’t derail that non-nomination, but we did. Sometimes you just have to do what’s right no matter what the outcome. Let’s look at what we know. She was a product of affirmative action who got into law school despite her inferior grades. Don’t we want the best of the best on Supreme Court? This is one mark against her. Of course, we have her well-publicized racist remarks that a wise Latina woman is smarter than a white male. That’s strike two. She had her case of reverse discrimination reversed by Supreme Court while she was waiting for confirmation. That’s the third black mark. Fourthly, the whole empathy issue. Do we really want a justice who turns a blind eye to the blind eye of justice and favors one group over another? Lastly, we have the Dems and the press threatening the Repubs that it will be political suicide for them to oppose a Latina. Whatever political advice these guys give us, we need to do the opposite. We need to show the nation we don’t play racial politics. We vote for or against people because of their merits, or lack there of. The Repubs have been showing a little backbone lately. The world is just a big pool of money. Too much of it is in America and not enough of it is in Muslim and other third world countries. His goal is to level the playing the field. Take from America to raise the poor parts of the world up. In Obama’s mind he is not the American president, he is a world leader. Being the American president is just a means to an end. He thinks Americans are rich and spoiled and have no idea what true poverty is. He’s seen third world poverty first hand when he went to a Muslim school in Indonesia. He doesn’t mind taking from the American people because he knows we can survive on much less. He is trying to impose his ideal of justice on us and the world. He doesn’t care about global warming. It is just a way he can take further control of the country. He doesn’t care about the economy. Freedom and Democracy just get in his way. This is why he admires and supports dictators. He wishes he had that kind of absolute power. Truth is, Obama doesn’t care about America, appreciate America or even like America. We’ve lived fat too long. The rest of the world has gotten by on much less and we should, too. Obama’s presidency is about revenge. He has to destroy America so he can remake it. His goal is to knock America down to size so he can create a more equal world where all people, except the political elites like himself, live together in poverty. That is the true meaning of Obama’s “change.”

The second video linked below shows the true story of how Zelaya was Constitutionally removed from office for trying to do away with Presidential term limits so he could stay in power indefinitely. Obama supports these efforts because he has the same intentions to extend his presidency in the U.S. Honduras is just the warm-up for the future Banana Republic States of America. LINK1 LINK2

Colin Powell has finally pulled his head out of the dark, steamy orifice that it’s called home for many, many months to openly question the madness spewing from Barrack Hussein Obama’s White House. Hopefully, the former Secretary of State’s judgment will remain clear now that he’s breathing some fresh air. So bamboozled by Obama’s charm and race, he must have lost sight of the fact that the man he endorsed for the Presidency was a raging anti-America liberal. How else could Powell have expected anything but a ridiculously expensive big-government agenda from an Obama administration? Be grateful that Mr. Powell is finally able to judge President Obama on the content of his policies and actions rather than the color of his skin. LINK

The Dems and the media and the reasonable republicans (aka: turncoats) have done nothing but criticize Palin from the start. So, of course they criticize her resignation, too. Like Rush says, the left is always going to hate us so there is no point in pandering to them. Just do what you think is right and let the chips fall where they will. The truth is, if Palin does have presidential aspirations, hanging out in court in Alaska for two years wasn’t going to move the mark at all. Alaska is literally a country away. She will be much more effective on the national scene by being freed up to work the “lower 48.” The country needs her and she knows it. She is easily the bravest and boldest Republican on the scene. TDI supports her move and is already firing up the bumper sticker machine for 2012. LINK

That photo up there is a ticket from an Obama appearance where he used an upside down flag as the visual. Just careless? Purposefully disrespectful? Neither one is acceptable. But nothing this president does is ever right side up. Have you ever noticed how there are some words that Obama will never say? For his 4th speech he never mentioned freedom, democracy, founding fathers, liberty, much less the pursuit of happiness. He never praises the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence. In fact, he never has anything good to say about this country ever. He just sees America as one huge problem he needs to “fix.” Most of his speech today was his usual Obamacare diatribe. The only mention he made to our history was this passing reference, “We did not get here by doing what was easy. That is not how a cluster of 13 colonies became the United States of America.” A random cluster of colonies. That’s all he thinks America is. He doesn’t see the miracle and inspired brilliance that was the founding of our nation. He truly does not deserve to be President of this great country. We just hope he enjoyed sharing his hot dogs with the Iranian tyrants he invited to the White House. LINK

In honor of our president who rallies against American individualism and self-reliance, Rush says we should consider changing Independence Day into Dependence Day. Obama wants to create a nanny state where everyone has to depend on government for all our needs. It’s unabashed socialism and it is the antithesis of the ideas America was founded upon – liberty, freedom, the pursuit of happiness, individuality and independence. Rush says it is up to us conservatives to cherish, protect and promote the virtues of independence. So, wave that flag proudly today and remind your friends, family and neighbors about the true meaning of the day. Happy Independence Day! LINK

Just when Obamacare seemed down for the count Chris Dodd led the Senate troops and trimmed an amazing 40% from the bill. Well, not actually trimmed. If you look closely, they’re really just shifting some of the costs to a new, undisclosed second bill. There are other really neat aspects to the bill, too. They’re going to make insurance companies cover people with pre-existing conditions without the option to charge them more. And, they’re going to make them cover anyone that applies – they can’t say no. The laws of economics be damned! So what if they companies go broke! But wait, that’s the real goal. Obamacare Mach II retains the government run option so when the private companies go out of business everyone will be forced to look to Obama for salvation. And we do mean forced. There is a huge penalty tax imposed on anyone who tries to go without healthcare. Just in case there are any politicians out there who aren’t eager to destroy the world’s greatest healthcare system, the Dems think they have one more ace up their sleeve. We have to pass this bill “to honor” the swimmer, Ted Kennedy. As far as TDI is concerned that’s the only reason needed to vote against it. LINK

It gives me pause to report that Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth, although I can’t say that unequivocally. He is, most likely, although we must stay open to other possibilities, definitely perhaps speaking in such a way that everyone can hear what they want to hear in his words – or maybe not. He is without a doubt, while taking into consideration those who might argue otherwise, the world’s greatest double-speaker, though it’s still open for debate. All I know is, at least I’m inclined to think, that his actions, as opposed to his precisely imprecise words, should be the true arbitrator of his intent. On this point I am firm but I still welcome opinions from both sides of the argument to which I will listen patiently and then ignore completely. I’m sure, at least I hope, that I’ve made myself somewhat perfectly clear. LINK

As America’s first anti-democracy president, Obama’s foreign policy can be a little hard to follow. The only real way to know where he will stand on an issue is to assume he will side with dictators over democracy. The pathetic excuse he made up for siding with the mullahs in Iran was his “non-interference doctrine.” Well, he certainly has taken the opposite approach with Honduras. He immediately and strongly went on record in support of ousted leader Zelaya. And now he is threatening sanctions unless his would-be dictator bud gets re-instated. Meanwhile, interim Honduran President Micheletti has threatened military action if Zelaya tries to return. So, how will this play out? Will Obama continue to stand with Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro? First, Rush mentioned that he had been working on a top-secret project of vital importance that occurred Monday evening. He said that he hoped to tell us about it someday. Secondly, Mark Levin was MIA Monday and had an unscheduled guest host for his show. On Tuesday, Mark also mentioned a very important secret meeting that had taken place the day before in Colorado. So, what was this secret summit all about? Mark provided more clues. He said it was time to stop saying Obama is moving towards a soft tyranny and to declare that we are officially in the midst of a soft tyranny. Mark went on to say it is going to take many years to reverse what Obama has done but conservatives have to organize and start working immediately. He went on to name 39 moderate democrats that need to be targeted for defeat in the next election. These are representatives that voted for Cap and Trade even though they come from traditionally conservative districts. One has to surmise that Mark and Rush are also working on a plan to defend talk radio against the eventual move to have it silenced by the Obama administration. TDI doesn’t know everything that took place at this secret summit but we feel better knowing that these two conservative titans are actively working behind the scenes to protect our liberty. Is there a single issue this guy isn’t on the wrong side of? Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was attempting a political coup by seeking to give himself dictatorial powers. He was working to repeal presidential term limits and to remain in office without the benefit of a new election. The nation’s congress, Supreme Court and military joined together to wrest control away from him. As a last resort, they physically seized him and removed him from power. And, who does our dictator-loving President side with? The power hungry President, of course. He is joined in his criticism of the ousting by his buds Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. Obama is really good about keeping his true intentions hidden. But every once in a while he lets the truth slip out. That way we’ll be forced to be more green and use less energy. In the same interview he also admitted that he wants the coal companies to be forced out of business. These are radical leftist views. He doesn’t care how many people it hurts to achieve his insane goals. There must be something about being in San Francisco that causes BHO to let down his guard. Probably because he feels he’s surrounded by likeminded radicals. That’s where this interview took place and that’s where he made his condescending quote about America being full of bitter people who cling to their religion and guns for solace. Sure am glad the state-run media appointed him our leader to draw attention to what’s really important. “Never mind the destruction of the economy and the raping of the healthcare industry, Desmond Dunkin skipped shop-class today!” LINK

The firing of the AmeriCorps IG, Gerald Walprin, was not an isolated incident. Sen. Charles Grassley is bringing to light a pattern of abuse by the BHO administration. IG Neil Barofsky was appointed as watchdog over the multi-billion dollar bank bailout. But when he started asking too many questions Geithner moved to suspend his inquiry. Two other IGs have also been fired in the last week alone. Inspector Generals are supposed to be non-biased watchdogs who are outside the influence of politics. And that’s exactly why Obama is methodically removing them – because he can’t control them. LINK

Liberty and Tyranny is number one on the bestsellers list for the 11th week. We thought we’d mark the occasion by comparing Mark’s conservative manifesto to the liberal handbook – Rules for Radicals. Mark’s book explains the ideals and virtues that founded this country. Saul’s explains how to destroy them. Mark’s rules are based on appealing to the best in men with open and honest discussion. Saul’s rules are based on deception, agitation and the fanning of resentment. As most of you know, Obama is a Saul Alinksky disciple. Rules for Radicals was his blueprint for getting elected and it is his guide in governing. We need to make ourselves aware of what’s in it. TDI encourages you to click the link to read a quick overview of “The Rules.” Just make sure you’ve had a good breakfast first. LINK

Can we all just stop playing around here? Obama is ruling this country as a dictator. Today’s financial regulation overhaul is just the latest example. He has no constitutional power to control the free market like he is, and yet he’s doing it. Because no one is stopping him. Americans just can’t believe that something like this could really take place in our country. This isn’t the usual conservative/liberal game of tug-of-war we normally play. Obama has changed the rules and changed the game. Obama is a tyrant. There is no other word for it. Click your heels and salute. LINK

In politics on June 17, 2009 at 11:32 am
As Mark Levin pointed out on his show last night, the numbers just don’t add up. Obama is proposing to remake the healthcare system from the ground up and the end result will only cover an additional 6% of the public. That would still leave 37 million people uninsured. So, what’s the point in spending trillions for such an inadequate plan? Well, that’s easy. It’s one more part of the public sector that Obama can get his greedy hands on. LINK

The Obama administration is laying the groundwork to make it easier for the government to seize companies. Geithner is expected to release the plan Wednesday. A new watchdog agency will be created to evaluate companies that are ripe for picking. This is the most significant new regulation of the financial industry since the Great Depression. We keep telling you Obama’s wild spending is putting our children in debt. Well, a former Bush official has done the math and come up with some scary figures. When you divide Obama’s $75 trillion in debt, it comes out to $250,000 a person or $1 million per family. And, look what we have to show for it! Record unemployment and a ruined economy. Somebody better take BHO’s credit card away and quick. LINK

Think back to the Mid-East apology tour. Did BHO run around speaking of democracy, liberty and freedom? No. He said Muslims were great and credited them with inventing everything from airplanes to corndogs. This guy loathes democracy. It gets in his way. He doesn’t want to pick sides in Iran. He says we’ll deal with whoever emerges on top. He knows it’s easier to sit down with some like-minded dictator. If the freedom loving people of this world are looking to this Prez for help, they may as well throw in the keffiyeh now. LINK

Obama’s half brother is writing a book entitled “Homeland” about his life of crime and poverty in Africa. As luck would have it, George found his salvation in community organizing just like his big bro. So, what does BHO make of all this? No one knows but he did have this heartwarming quote in one of his books, “George is a handsome, roundheaded boy with a wary gaze.” Let’s hope George shares Barack’s way with words. LINK

ABC “News” is preparing to unleash a fetid wave of drivel in an attempt to help Obama destroy the finest healthcare system in the world. On Wednesday, June 24th, ABC will subject its viewers to a massive dose of BHO flapping his gums about the healthcare “crisis”. It all starts on Good Morning America when Diane Sawyer will do her best to make the President look smart by asking softball questions, followed by a riveting Robin Roberts interview with Michelle! Then comes the primetime question and answer session with Obama featuring actual stupid Americans, hand-picked by ABC. As if that isn’t enough to pack emergency rooms across this great nation, more healthcare blather will follow on Nightline. Charlie Gibson will even anchor “World News” from the White House! Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and other despots around the world will be sure to tune in for this fine example of state run media. TDI humbly suggests you do not. LINK

Hey, where’s all the news coverage of this? A new Gallup poll shows conservatism is the single-largest ideological group in America. And, it’s growing at the expense of moderates and liberals. The American people are waking up to the liberal extremism of the Obama administration and they are soundly rejecting it. Here’s hoping our elected Republicans take heed and stop cowering in the corner. Be loud and be proud! America is a conservative nation. Now, act like it! LINK

On “Meet the Press” yesterday, Biden joked “everyone guessed wrong” about the impact of the stimulus. The administration is backing away from their estimate to create 3 to 5 million jobs and instead promises 600,000. Can you believe this nonsense? And what’s this business about “guessing” how their plan would work. Was it based on nothing more than hopeful conjecture? This is trillions of dollars of our children’s money these dummies are throwing away. And they seriously want us to hand them the reigns to healthcare? Wake up, people. America has been hijacked by raging idiots. LINK

BHO is about as liberal as humanly possible, except for one glaring exception – gays. As TDI pointed out in an earlier post, BHO sees America through the eyes of an impoverished Muslim youth from Indonesia. And, Muslims have no tolerance what-so-ever for homosexuality. So, being a Muslim at his root, neither does the anointed one. Think all the libs will be as eager to chastise Obama for his views as they were Miss California? LINK

In politics on June 13, 2009 at 8:30 pm
Dems will include $600 billion in tax increases and $400 billion in cuts to Medicare. Some estimate the 10-year price tag will exceed $1.5 trillion. In other words, it’s going to cost us a butt-load of money to destroy the world’s best healthcare system. Medical schools are already reporting sharp decreases in enrollment. Who would want to go through all those years of school just to get screwed by the government? It’ll cost more, innovation and research will grind to a halt, the quality of care will suffer, care will be rationed and we lose all choice. Sounds like the usaul Obama anti-fix that takes a bad situation and turns it into an absolute disaster. LINK

The Dems would have you believe Gitmo is a torture facility, but some recently freed detainees beg to differ. They say they were treated very well and hold no grudge against the U.S. for their detention. In fact, the big bad U.S. military was so worried about their safety they have given them residence in Bermuda. The state department determined it would be too dangerous for them to return to China where they would face persecution. It is truly disgusting how Obama and the left lied about the behavior of our military at Gitmo. The smiling guys in the photo above are living examples of the truth. LINK

Seems IG Gerald Walprin was doing his job too well. He uncovered millions of misspent federal dollars by AmeriCorps. In particular, his investigation was closing in on NBA star and Obama supporter, Kevin Johnson. Kevin used AmeriCorp grants for personal use and has already been ordered to repay more than $400,000. But none of that matters when you have a fellow community disorganizer in the White House. BHO fired Mr. Walprin today saying he had lost confidence in him. If only it were that easy to fire a President that we’ve lost confidence in. LINK

Cantor goes on to predict that Republicans will take back the house in 2010 after more of the President’s subversive agenda is revealed. Fight the power, people! LINK

Footage of Sotomayor has been unearthed that reveals the truth about the judge. In her own words she admits that her SAT scores were not good enough to get her into college. She goes on to say culturally biased questions are built into the tests so minorities do poorly on them. So, what we have is a nominee for the Supreme Court that is not smart enough to get into college and blames the test for her failure. The only thing more embarrassing than those statements are the shoulder pads Sonia is sporting in the video. The best of the best, indeed. LINK

Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus is not only ugly, he’s a thug. He’s using strong-arm tactics to silence discussion about healthcare reform. Yesterday he warned healthcare lobbyists and stakeholders that if they meet with Republicans it will be considered a “hostile act.” It’s not enough to just ignore Republican input, they intend to blacklist anyone who even talks to Republicans. Baucus may be able to silence the Republicans but he can’t silence us. Mark Levin is encouraging people to call Baucus to let him know we won’t stand for this – (202) 224-2651 or

While the state-run media labels James von Brunn a rightwing radical, a glance at his beliefs reveals the truth. He spews the same leftist hate speech you hear on MSNBC. He hates neo-cons, Fox News and the Weekly Standard. He says 9/11 was an inside government job, and he hates Israel and the Jews. Tune in to Keith Olbermann any night and you’ll hear the same talking points. And, as far as his KKK connections go, sitting democrat Senator Robert Byrd once shared his same views. If anything, this man’s beliefs are more closely aligned with the divisiveness and hate speech that the leftists fill our airwaves with every day. LINK

global justice, mark levin, mike rogers, miranda rights for terrorists
In politics on June 11, 2009 at 10:22 am
BHO said on 60 Minutes recently that he would never give Miranda Rights to terrorists. Seems he changed his mind. When Congressman Mike Rogers was in Afghanistan last week he was shocked to find the reading of rights is now policy. There is no legal basis for this practice because the terrorists are neither U.S. citizens or on U.S. soil. As captives, they have greater rights than in their home countries including the right to remain silent and the right to a lawyer. The military are forced to act like police officers and gather evidence to make a case every time they act. They will also be required to defend their actions in court. This is a huge blow to the safety of America. If these policies had been in place after 911 we would have never gotten the info that thwarted untold numbers of terrorist plots. Once again, Obama sides with the terrorists over the safety of Americans. Thanks go out to Mark Levin for helping bring attention to this story. LINK
