Obama to Seniors: Your lives are not worth saving

In politics on June 19, 2009 at 9:05 am

Where’s AARP on this issue? Why aren’t there protests at the old folks homes? Where’s the tapioca revolt? Tom Daschle, tax cheat and author of Obamacare, openly admits that the elderly should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. Under nationalized healthcare, we won’t be able to foot the bill for seniors to have operations. They’re going to die soon anyway the theory goes, so why spend money on them? Put bluntly, Obama expects the elderly to pay for nationalized healthcare with their lives. Is that a price we’re willing to pay? LINK

  1. I’m senior, it is not a price I can pay, nor is it anything I want. I just want my Freedom of Choice, and yours too!

  2. I’d like to know why the seniors aren’t speaking up, also. If you like Medicare, you’ll love national health care, except BO now considers us expendable. Hey, BO, that’s most of the Congress. The paper work alone is enough to kill us.

  3. Seniors are a frightened class. They’re perpetually frightened about their Social Security being taken away. They’re frightened they’ll die alone with outrageous sums of their life savings going to the government and health care industry. I live in FL and they freak when a hurricane is coming and don’t know what to do or where to go. It’s sad to get old. You are vulnerable. Vulnerable frightened people vote Demoncrap, not realizing that they are the party destroying the United States of America.

  4. My regrets, but Seniors and the AARP are very deep in the pockets of Democrat politics. they THOUGHT that was who would CARE for them. You know, Clinton’s “I feel your pain.” Feeling is one thing, doing something about it is another.

Not only doesn’t the government care about “Seniors” and they certainly hope that life savings, life insurance, and any other money will fall into their hands to pass out to their subservient worshipers of BHO

  5. I am so tired of society as a whole discriminating against the senior citizens of this country. They are to be commended. They worked hard, tirelessly, gave selflessly, tried to raise their children to be honest, decent, patriotic citizens. They help build this great nation and what do they receive in return? This administration, and others like it want to throw them away like garbage. I agree with rdeder’s statement “Seniors and the AARP are very deep in the pockets of Democrat politics.” That is akin to playing with rattlesnakes, and hoping that you will not be bitten. No matter, your age or station in life one must always look out for themselves. Discrimination against Seniors is alive and well in the nation that they help to build.
