NJ and Virginia fell hard for Obama’s line of crap a year ago but now they’ve seen the error of their ways. The establishment Republicans tried to shove a liberal down our throats in upstate NY and she was so soundly rejected she withdrew from the race. Hoffman, a political newbie on the third party Conservative Party ticket came out of nowhere with a Palin endorsement and got within 5 pts of winning the election. Independents broke for the Republicans in all three elections 2 to 1. And don’t believe the state controlled media that this doesn’t mean anything. In fact, we’ve already seen results. On the eve of the election Harry Reid saw the writing on the wall and announced Obamacare may not get voted on until next year. This is a huge flinch on the Dems part. Conservatism roared in last night’s elections and it’s only a foretaste of things to come.

As soon as the title of Palin’s book was announced people started speculating whether she was leaving the republican party. Well, we got another clue today. She has announced her support for Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York. She goes on to praise him for “not being part of the political machine.” TDI has mixed feelings about this. As Rush Limbaugh always counsels, we’re better off to change the republican party than to try and establish a new party. But at what point do we quit banging out heads against the wall? Is it time for conservatives to go rogue? We’ll have to wait and see how things play out… LINK
