In honor of our president who rallies against American individualism and self-reliance, Rush says we should consider changing Independence Day into Dependence Day. Obama wants to create a nanny state where everyone has to depend on government for all our needs. It’s unabashed socialism and it is the antithesis of the ideas America was founded upon – liberty, freedom, the pursuit of happiness, individuality and independence. Rush says it is up to us conservatives to cherish, protect and promote the virtues of independence.
