Conservatives Roar. Obama Whimpers.

Obama

NJ and Virginia fell hard for Obama’s line of crap a year ago but now they’ve seen the error of their ways. The establishment Republicans tried to shove a liberal down our throats in upstate NY and she was so soundly rejected she withdrew from the race. Hoffman, a political newbie on the third party Conservative Party ticket came out of nowhere with a Palin endorsement and got within 5 pts of winning the election. Independents broke for the Republicans in all three elections 2 to 1. And don’t believe the state controlled media that this doesn’t mean anything. In fact, we’ve already seen results. On the eve of the election Harry Reid saw the writing on the wall and announced Obamacare may not get voted on until next year. This is a huge flinch on the Dems part. Conservatism roared in last night’s elections and it’s only a foretaste of things to come.

Going Rogue: Is Palin Abandoning the Republican Party?

In politics on October 23, 2009 at 10:38 am

As soon as the title of Palin’s book was announced people started speculating whether she was leaving the republican party. Well, we got another clue today. She has announced her support for Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York. She goes on to praise him for “not being part of the political machine.” TDI has mixed feelings about this. As Rush Limbaugh always counsels, we’re better off to change the republican party than to try and establish a new party. But at what point do we quit banging out heads against the wall? Is it time for conservatives to go rogue? We’ll have to wait and see how things play out… LINK

Was Obama’s Speech Hate Speech?

In politics on September 10, 2009 at 2:06 pm

Sarah Palin is on a roll. Her response to Obama’s healthcare speech is dead on. She points out how the prez tries to belittle those who disagree with him. Saying they’re not serious that they’re just “bickering,” playing “games” and trying to “score short term political points.” When the American people voice legitimate concerns he calls their accusations “bogus,” “irresponsible” and “a lie.” Obama’s arrogance is not only appalling, it reveals how he is filled with rage. If this kind of rhetoric was coming from the right they’d label it as hate speech. LINK

Sarah Palin to Obama: You want a plan? I got a plan.

In politics on September 9, 2009 at 1:09 pm

When you hear Obama say tonight that “the other side” doesn’t have a healthcare plan, you’ll be armed with the truth. Sarah Palin has once again hit the nail on the head with a plan that can be described in one paragraph instead of the thousands of pages congress offers up. Here it is in her own words:

Instead of poll-driven “solutions,” let’s talk about real health-care reform: market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven. As the Cato Institute’s Michael Cannon and others have argued, such policies include giving all individuals the same tax benefits received by those who get coverage through their employers; providing Medicare recipients with vouchers that allow them to purchase their own coverage; reforming tort laws to potentially save billions each year in wasteful spending; and changing costly state regulations to allow people to buy insurance across state lines. Rather than another top-down government plan, let’s give Americans control over their own health care. LINK

Sarah to Obama: Do you want HC reform to benefit trial attorneys or patients?

Sarah Palin continues to be the most sensible voice in the Republican Party. Why accept Obama’s premises about what’s wrong with healthcare? An honest and objective look at the supposed healthcare “crisis” reveals the real problem is the rise in the practice of defensive medicine. The trail lawyers sue with no caps. To protect themselves, doctors have to order extensive and sometimes unnecessary tests. Tort reform is what’s really needed. Sarah sites success stories in Texas where malpractice claims dropped 41% after reform measures were passed. Sarah is an example for us to think for ourselves and not to buy the bull Obama is pushing. LINK

From Town Hall Protests to Sarah Palin, Conservatism Gets Results

In politics on August 17, 2009 at 11:34 am

The White House is against us. The press is against us. Both houses of congress are against us. Too many Republican leaders are against us. But even in the face of these overwhelming odds, the power of Conservatism still gets results. The average Americans speaking out town hall meeting has slowed ObamaCare to a crawl and put Obama and the dems on defense. Sarah Palin single handedly forced the dems to remove the “death panel” references in their bill. And, it’s just been announced on Drudge that Obama has closed down flag@whitehouse.gov. So, don’t be discouraged by Obama’s slander and the media’s hate speech. Just let it inspire you to do even more. You have a right to be heard and you are being heard. In the words of the supreme leader, “Get in their faces and punch back twice as hard.”  LINK

Sarah Palin Single-Handedly Defeats “Death Panels” in Senate Bill

In politics on August 14, 2009 at 11:56 am

Former Alaska Governor and one-time Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is constantly ridiculed by the Democrats and their pals in the leftist media. They call her a rube, a quitter, an idiot. They make fun of the way she talks. They dismiss every word that floats from her sexy mouth. They hope that if they keep marginalizing her she’ll go away. Well, it’s not working. Sarah Palin has managed to crush one of the more horrific elements of the Senate’s health care reform bill, the “Death Panel”. They said she was nuts. They said the atrocities she envisioned could never happen. Then they stripped it from the bill. With a just a couple Facebook posts, Mrs. Palin shined a light on the cockroaches in the senate and they scattered for cover. Brain dead liberals will continue to savage her, and she will continue to expose them for the vermin they are. Give ‘em hell, Sarah! LINK

Rush Limbaugh cracks a few Obama Jokes

(ORIGINALLY POSTED 06/10/09)

Inspired by David Letterman’s jokes about Sarah Palin, Rush told some Obama jokes on his show today. It was driving the lib callers nuts. Here are a few samples:

What’s the difference between God and Obama?
-God doesn’t think he’s Obama.
-Liberals believe in Obama.
-God only asks for 10% of your money.
-God gives you the freedom to live your life as you choose.
-God’s plan to save us actually exists.
What do Obama and God have in common? Neither one has a birth certificate.

If you know any more Obama jokes please add them to the comments. LINK

Emanuel Feeds Media Line: Sarah Palin The Female Rush Limbaugh

In politics on July 14, 2009 at 10:59 pm

Picture 29Rahm called all his press buddies this morning and told them to refer to Sarah Palin as the female Rush Limbaugh. The press dutifully complied by repeating the line at least 12 different times today alone. Guess they thought that’d really put Sarah in her place. But to these conservative ears, it sounds more like a compliment. Just don’t make me picture Rush in heels, please. LINK

Libs have a cow that Palin was “allowed” to write an op-ed

In politics on July 14, 2009 at 4:52 pm

Picture 27The arrogance of these people is amazing. They actually think they won the Palin battle. They believe she has been so soundly defeated that she shouldn’t even be allowed to speak. HuffPost’s Art Brodsky goes on and on about how the Washington Post is pathetic for letting her write an op-ed piece on cap and trade. He says Palin has no constituency even though a poll taken after her resignation showed 71% of Republicans would vote for her in a presidential bid. Like it or not, she is a prominent voice for conservatives. Not media darling anti-republican republicans like that dimwit Colin Powell. It is exactly this kind of self-righteous, holier-than-though attitude that will eventually be the undoing of the left. They’re going to be in for a big surprise come election time. LINK

What’s New? Vanity Fair & McCain Operatives Trash Talk Palin

In politics on June 30, 2009 at 1:34 pm

sarah_palin_wideweb__470x313,0You can tell how big of a threat Sarah is to the left by the way she is constantly savaged in the press. They can’t fight her on issues so they resort to the favorite liberal pastime: personal attacks. Vanity Fair has a new article where McCain’s people finally “come clean” about how horrible she was and what a drag she was to the ticket. Truth is they’ve been trashing her from day one. She immediately outshined the head of the ticket and lil’ Johnny and his peeps couldn’t handle it. Sarah is completely responsible for whatever success the McCain ticket had. Can you imagine how dismally McCain would have done at the ballot box without her? And yet, the press implores us to look to watered-down Repubs like John to “save” our party. Yeah, right. It’s about time all the liberals and moose-lovers face the truth, Sarah and the new breed of bold conservatives are the real future of the party … and the nation. LINK

OUTRAGE: Lewd Letterman jokes about Obama’s teenage daughter getting knocked up by A-Rod

In politics, tv on June 10, 2009 at 10:55 am

lettermanodaughterHow dare he! Politician’s kids are off limits! Just think of the pain inflicted on that poor little girl. Doesn’t Obama care about the reputation of his daughter? We need the fairness doctrine on tv. This kind of hate speech has to be stopped! We need Marshall law. Call your congressman! Boycott CBS! Burn your tv! Protest in the street! Oh, wait… The joke was about Sarah Palin’s teenage daughter? Not Obama’s? Then nevermind. She’s a republican so it’s okay. Republicans don’t have feelings. Call off the national guard. Whew, that was close. LINK

Sarah Palin kicks Newt Gingrich’s tired old a$$

In politics on June 9, 2009 at 7:36 pm

88292285CS002_NEWT_GINGRICHIt was the heavyweight matchup of the season. Sarah, the beloved newcomer vs. Newt, the crusty old panderer. First, Sarah was invited to speak at the year’s biggest GOP fundraiser. Then, Newt whined so the offer was rescinded. Sarah complained and was invited back – but not as a speaker. So, Sarah arranged an interview to be aired on Hannity at the same time Newt delivered his speech. Take that Newty! While Gingrich blathered on about how much he loves Colin Powell and Tom Ridge, Sarah delivered the knockout punch on Hannity. She spoke bluntly about Obama’s failures and his push towards socialism. She is the only elected official brave enough to tell it like it is. Consider your clock cleaned, Mr. Newt. KA-POW!
